About Us

Red Horse Distillery was originally a large winery located in New Franklin, Ohio  founded in 2009 by Joe Semansky.  Red Horse Winery produced 40+ wines.  These wines were sold to liquor stores, grocery stores, casinos and farm markets.   The distillery was added in 2015. 

The winery and distillery were tourist destinations to enjoy tours , fresh in house pizza, entertainment and the beautiful sunsets!  It was also a top area wedding venue.  

In Spring of 2021,  Joe and Kelly sold the property and retired to Fort Myers, Florida.   Shortly after in September 2021, they purchased a building in Fort Myers to open a stand alone distillery.  They opened the doors in July 2022.
